I am Nancy, I am 28 years old and I am Mexican by birth . I was born and raised in Zacatelco Tlaxcala, a super cute town in Mexico. I studied for university (Universidad Iberoamericana) in one of the best private schools in Mexico thanks to the work and effort of my parents and I obtained a degree in business administration and tourism .
After leaving university I worked for a year in the Hotel W, which is in the World Trade Center, in the kitchen area, then I returned to Mexico where I started my professional life as a Sales Executive for the Posadas hotel chain. After a year I was offered my first management in the largest hotel chain in the world, I worked 2.5 years as Events Manager and Wedding Planner for Marriott Puebla Hotel Mesón del Ángel, the largest hotel in the city, it was one of the best stages of my life. I quit my job due to various personal issues and projects I had to do, at that time I opened a flower shop. As my own business, which gave me experiences and different learnings on how to be an entrepreneur, (the flower shop still exists, I sold the business and it is still successful).
From the last time I arrived here to date I have been in New York for 1.5 years, one of my favorite cities in the world. hat I like the most about living here is the diversity of people and the interculturality that you can have when meeting people.
I am passionate about several things including: traveling, reading, writing and eating. My last trip was in December and it was to Paris France to ring in the new year, it was one of the best trips I have ever had in my life. My favorite books are the Harry Potter⚡ saga, The Alchemist, One Hundred Years of Solitude, The Diary of Anne Frank, In a Dark Jungle, About Nothing ... just to name a few.
I am working on writing a book, my goal in the future is to be the next Mexican JK Rowling with several Best Sellers. Another of the main goals for my future is to achieve my financial freedom.
For fun I like to skate, dance and talk with my friends as well as reading and writing.
Unfortunately, the Covid 19 situation was something that I would never have imagined living through. I had studied other pandemics that occurred in the past without thinking that I would have to experience one. If you ask me if my life changed, the answer is yes, totally, I think that for everyone it was a complete stop and an opportunity to think about our lives and how we are living them. It is an opportunity to really give value to what really matters and also think about what we are doing to our planet, I believe that all human beings should from now on live as a great community, a sustainable community in harmony with our mind, body, soul, planet and daily life. If this change caused by the pandemic helps to raise awareness of the lifestyle we led, we will get something good for everyone that in the future will help us to be much more aware, grateful, respectful, and loving humans with everything around us.
The above are a few lines about who I am and what I have lived in the last few years.
